How to get there without going through Security gates;

By the side of the Cozumel Ferry terminal, you will find Señor Frogs restuarant.
Walk along the beach from there into the Playacar area, and pass the Playacar Palace Hotel (approximately 50 meters).
Turn right off the beach to see the magnificent Mayan Ruins in front of you.
You may return the same way avoiding any security checks.
